Episode 122: All About the Experience on the Road to ISE 2019 (Part I)

Each of the guests begin by introducing themselves and their companies, as well as some of what they’ll be doing at ISE (some about the products and solutions they’ll be showcasing). Michelle handles this round, how did he do? She is of course experienced (a former The AV Life Crew member)!

Next each guest gets more in depth talking about the ISE experience, along with what the company is doing in terms of products, solutions and more. Paul discusses Aurora solutions, and he also talks about a different culture at ISE and the varying ideas brought by attendees, which Paul and the people at Aurora really appreciate. He talks about thriving off the energy brought at ISE. He also talks about the booth – being their largest yet at ISE. Paul discusses the AV over IP environment as well. Anders is next talking about what ISE is all about for the European market, how immense the show is now, along with how he perceives the show’s direction. He talks about how the show continues to attract exhibitors from around the world, and the investment that ISE is (along with the needed planning for it). He mentions the move to Barcelona as well. Michelle also asks Anders about exhibitor participation at the trade shows and marketing, especially in terms of a software platform such as Pexip’s.

Lauren talks about the various industry shows, and focuses on the ISE experience for SurgeX. She talks about power solutions and their importance, along with growth for the company. She also discusses bringing on new distributors, and the importance of the distributor in the overseas markets. Lauren talks about what SurgeX hopes to project in terms of messaging and education for attendees. Chris talks about some of the products that Polycom will be showcasing, including the new Polycom Studio, along with Plantronics solutions and products including SoundScaping and headsets. Corey talks with Chris about the huddle room focus, and how Polycom Studio fits in especially. Chris also talks about Polycom’s statement about the power of collaboration, and the relation to attendees at the show.
